ReIReS in Contact with Other H2020 Funded Projects: Involve Younger Generations

The European Academy of Religion offered Horizon 2020 funded projects like ReIReS a podium to present their projects and to exchange with people involved in other projects in the field of religion and religious diversity, like RetopEA, Inter-Religio, Grassrootsmobilise, and Asiti.

It was encouraging to see that so many efforts are being done in order to stimulate a peaceful living together in a multi-religious Europe. Besides, it became clear that we have to involve younger generations in this issue. Both RetopEA and Asiti emphasized  that they are doing this in a very active way, e.g. by working with school childeren who are making documentaries on the theme of religious diversity, or by inviting them to bootcamps, as Asiti does.

From the discussion we learned that there is an interest in collaborating with other projects. Especially Patrick Pasture of the KU Leuven, involved in the RetopEA project, expressed this. We asked Patrick Pasture if there are any connections to be made between ReIReS and RetopEA.
