Fondazione di Storia Onlus-Vicenza and Istituto Storico Italiano per l’età Moderna e Contemporanea have entered into an agreement with ReIReS, to underline their wish to work more closely together.
The Fondazione di Storia Onus-Vicenza is was founded in 1975 as The Research Institute for Social and Religious History, founded by Gabriele De Rosa and Mariano Rumor, and turned into a Foundation in 2017, with the aim of promoting History Research not only in the Veneto region and Italy, but also in Europe and Asia.
The Istituto Storico Italiano per l’età Moderna e Contemporanea has the task of publishing the sources of Italian history from 1500 to the present day. Started with the publication of diplomatic sources of the history of the Italian Risorgimento, the correspondence of Bettino Ricasoli and the letters of Francesco Guicciardini, the publishing activity has focused on the main themes of the Italian political life between the 18th and 19th centuries.
For ReIReS it is important to enter into agreements with these kind of institutions, as a first step towards closer collaboration on religious studies, at the same time trying to find ways on how to deal with the needs of a plural and multicultural society in which religious, philosophical and non-confessional identies of individuals and communities have a crucial relevance, and to make use of the tools that ReIReS is developing.
