The ReIReS Peer Review Committee has accepted 42 projects that were proposed by 40 researchers as a result of the Fourth Call for Applications for ReIReS scholarships.

The spectrum of disciplines ranges from Theology and Religious Studies to Art History, Philology, Social Science, Cultural Anthropology, History, Archaeology, Egyptology and Byzantine Studies, and the projects investigate historical phenomena of different religions.

Given the current situation due to the corona crisis, the TNA providers do not know when they can offer the scholarship recipients a place on-site. The ReIReS partners in Bologna, Hamburg, Leuven, Mainz, Paris and Sofia will welcome them as soon as transnational travel is possible and recommended. If Transnational Access is not possible in the year 2020, the providers will offer other kinds of access, that are being discussed at the moment.

It is expected that in mid-May 2020 either a time for the visit can be planned, or an alternative for accessing the sources.
