Fscire is looking for one research fellow to be involved in the project Theology, economic thought and commercial practices: feneratio, ribā and interest rate in Christianity and Islam, focusing on the usury and interest rate in medieval Christianity, co-funded by Banca d’Italia.

Usury and interest rate in medieval Christianity: theology, economic thought and practices.
Research Aims
Framing theological debates in medieval Christianity on usury and the progressive definition of interest rate, and assess its impact on institutions, credit and commercial practices through case studies.
