ReIReS partner EPHE (École Pratique des Hautes Études) in Paris is offering a series of online conferences, with lectures by guest professor Guillaume Dye themed: Building the Europe of Religious Studies.

About

The lectures will be in French and have the overall topic: Construire la communauté des croyants. Identité et transmission aux débuts d’islam (Building the community of believers.  Identity and transmission at the beginnings of Islam).

Guillaume Dye is professor at the Free University of Brussels (ULB), where he holds the chair on Islam: history, cultures, societies. He is co-founder and co-director of the Early Islamic Studies Seminar.
