During the Warsaw workshop October 22-26, the organizers and participants joined the process of charting the interface between those preserving and making available primary sources and those working with these materials. 16 people from all over Europe entered into the dialogue and search for new possibilities for translation from the material historical source into the digital medium and the potential it brings to the scholarly world. From the 26th to 30th November 2018 the members of ReIReS will attend a workshop on the FAIR principle for digital Research Data Management in Mainz.
From the 22nd to the 26th of October 2018 members of ReIReS will be visiting Warsaw for a workshop on the management of special collections for research purposes. The workshop will gather 18 representatives of partner institutions, among them FSCIRE, Sofia University, Johannes Gutenberg University, the Institute for European History in Mainz, and the University of Warsaw.
