About
TASC is a unique form of transnational access (TNA), which offers the possibility to have access to a series of special collections of documents, manuscripts and rare books concerning historical religious studies across Europe.
Potential users of TASC from EU members states and from the countries associated to Horizon 2020 can apply for TNA to consult each of these special collections and libraries (excluding those belonging to the user country) in order to develop innovative and ground breaking investigations in historical religious studies and in order to enhance the relevance of the intellectual patrimony available through TASC for the implementation of historical religious studies. Users can use also physical materials and instruments, files and databases available through the providers, with respect of the authorial and intellectual property rights.
TASC is a crucial pillar for the ‘ratio’ of the whole ReIReS and for the major aim of the access policy of the project, which is to integrate the access to sources, resources and facilities with the direct contact with experts and to create a synergy between TNA activities, Training activities (WP5) and development of innovation in digital tools (WP6) and epistemological approach to the domain of historical religious studies (WP7). The transnational and European character of TASC is a direct answer to the need of scholars to have a direct and more effective access to the objects of their research, which are preserved in different countries.
